Calling all quizzers!  Join us on Saturday 2nd November at 7pm in the All Saints Church Hall in Kenley, for an evening of quizzing and fun. For a suggested donation of £12 per person, you'll get a Ploughman's Supper, with hot sausages and an evening of mental stimulation and fun! A paid bar will also be available. Contact the Parish Office to reserve your place.

The hall is bright and airy, and well-suited for hosting meetings, social events, fundraising events, birthdays, baptism celebrations and much much more...   Sharpen your pencils and your wits... it's quiz o clock at St Barnabas. Saturday 25th November - 7.15pm for a prompt 7.30pm start.  Ploughman's supper provided. Please specify any dietary requirements. Please bring your own drinks and glasses.  Teams of up to 8 people.  Speak to Sarah, Sue M, Linda, Ros, Charmian or Jean. Sign up sheets are at the back of the churches.

  Due to a date clash, All Saints Kenley has cancelled the Beetledrive on Saturday December 2nd.  This will be rescheduled for the spring.

Rain didn't stop play on Sunday, when the Foxley Woods Quiz Trail was relocated to the St Barnabas Church Hall... Our dedicated quizzers enjoyed a fun morning, pitting the brightest minds of Purley and Kenley against each other to raise money for The Friends of Foxley. Huge thanks to Nicki for organising and to everyone who took part and made it such an enjoyable event!

  We will be hosting a Quiz Trail in Foxley Woods on Saturday 21st October from 10am. This a great opportunity to enjoy this special area, before sharing a light lunch and the answers back at St Barnabas.  The trail is appropriate for both adults and supervised children, but sadly the terrain is not suitable for wheelchair users or for buggies, due to the narrow paths and rough ground.  However, everyone is welcome to join the lunch at St Barnabas, from 12 noon, even if you haven’t been on the trail. As usual, please advise any dietary requirements in advance. When? : Meet at the notice board at the Cullesden Road entrance to the park at 10am. What? : Follow the clues around the wood finishing back at the Cullesden Road entrance. What to bring? : Make sure you have good footwear and something waterproof if it’s wet. Each group will also need a mobile phone. How Much is it? : £10 for adults and £5 for children. Any profit will go to The Friends of Foxley Wood. ...

We celebrated Harvest Festival at St Barnabas on Sunday. We donated money to the Purley Food Stop; food to the Purley Food Hub; birdseed for our feeders at All Saints and sold home-produced goods to raise money for Foxley Woods! It was one of those special 'giving' days that we love at our churches. Special thanks to the uniformed organisations who decorated the church's windowsills marvellously!  

Many thanks to all of those who were able to join us for the Last Night of the Proms event at All Saints Church Hall, Kenley on Saturday 9th September 2023. We raised an amazing £1,005.00 for the church funds!
